A unique boutique hotel

Casa Amor was completely restored to rediscover the spirit of the 19th century: white whitewashed walls, bare stones and platibandas typical of the Algarve.
All the arches and vaults have been saved, and the buildings of the '70s have given way to a white patio with a one-hundred-year-old olive tree in its centre. The ornamental doors, in carved wood, are red as love, reproduced by craftsmen, and characteristic of the beautiful homes here. The roof terrace now hosts a large suite with its large private terrace.
On the floor, tiles from Santa Catarina offers sweetness; there is also the salt water pool, without chlorine, which dominates the patio. One can cool off surrounded by the white city. Not to mention the great viewpoint to look out over the Ria Formosa and the islands…

All the bedrooms benefit from the natural and beautiful light of the Algarve. They have white walls, northern pine parquet, as in the old churches here, and porcelain switches. Furniture has been restored and is back in its place. Artists from here and there have been chosen for colour and beauty.
The rooftop suite has its own entrance. Push open the small gate and discover the private terrace of 71 m².
We have chosen high-end bedding as in luxury hotels. Your nights will be as beautiful as your days!
Although not necessary, because the walls of the old house are very thick, all spaces are air-conditioned. In winter, radiators heat the large bathrooms and the towels. We have installed solar panels and a heat pump to have responsible and environmentally friendly consumption.

On the ground floor is the dining room where we take the breakfast under the hundred-year-old white vaults. It is illuminated by the light from the white patio that enters through large black metal windows. Here the old and the modern are juxtaposed without ever conflicting. You can also sit in the patio or to shelter from the summer heat.
In the winter lounge one almost feels as if in an old chapel under the white vaulted ceilings, supported by solid granite pillars. Sofas and armchairs invite you to read and relax, in the cool in summer or by the fireplace in winter.
Casa Amor is also a place open to the city. The coffee shop, with its French pastries and delicatessen, was a huge success in 2022 in the fishermen's district, and now is here permanently. The regulars are ready...
Next door, the small art gallery will participate in local life. Olhão is also a city of artists. In winter, this can become a coworking room or a meeting room for business seminars. Imagine the power of working in such surroundings, less than three hours from the main European capitals!
